I am a plus sized woman who set out on a quest to become healthier. It was on this journey to better health, that I discovered the joy of veganism through the teachings of Queen Afua, Nubia Sutton, and Breeze Harper. Join me as I recreate some of my pre-vegan favorites as well as the new vegan dishes I now enjoy.

Hey there! I’m so glad I discovered your blog through the pot luck – your blog is wonderful! I’ve been vegan for just over a year now. Like you, I chose this path for health reasons. Both my husband and I have lost weight as well as lowered our blood pressure and cholesterol eating this way. Celeste:)

Hi Celeste!
Thanks for the compliments. Yes, we all have different reasons for becoming vegan but the main thing is that as we go along there are other reasons for staying vegan such as animal rights and social activism. I just visited your blog and it is really cool. You have a lot of beautiful pictures.I hope to talk to you again soon. 🙂

Hello dear, I’m so happy I discovered your blog, however I just saw the last entry was from 2 years ago.. I’m also a plus size woman, newly vegan, with a Ghanaian husband who joined me on the vegan way of life (this is why I found your blog, I was looking for vegan GH recipes 🙂 ) I hope you will continue blogging in the future. Best regards 🙂
